Stretching over 6,800 yards, the par 72 Old course is a picturesque, undulating parkland course that provides a thrilling test for golfers of all levels. One of the most loved holes is the challenging, downhill par 3 2nd. Measuring at 200 yards from the white tees, the hole leads down to a demanding uphill, two-tier green, which can demand some excellent putting to make it down in 3. Another great feature of the Old course is the double green connecting the par 5 3rd and 12th. Both are fantastic birdie opportunities if you can manage to stay on the fairway and avoid the mature trees that carve the holes through the sloping landscape. One of the tougher holes on the course is the 16th. The dog –legged hole turns to the right with a striking oak tree in the middle of the fairway, around 260 yards out. Placement from the tee is vital if you want to score low on this hole

Always great to return to this lovely course.   UPDATE ON EVENT - tee times from 1.30 -  The club is adhering stricd distance rules -  we are allowed on the putting green 30 mins from tee time -  no coaching is allowed to take place but a video lesson will be sent-   The halfway house will provide you a sandwich pastry and drink which is included in the ticket   Dyrham Park Country Club's 6,497 yard course presents a rich and varied challenge, with tree-lined fairways and several water hazards. Designed by C.K. Cotton, the course reflects the belief of "no risk, no reward". Numerous holes feature distinctive water hazards with the spectacular 7th tempting the brave with a 200-yard carry over a lake.   The 6th and 13th holes boast an impressive lake measuring some 2,000 square metres that provides a genuine and daunting challenge to golfers of all handicaps.   The stretch of holes from 14-16 - known as "the loop" - can make or break a round, with water a danger on each hole, but with chances for birdies too.   The 11th hole par 3 is one of the most challenging and interesting par 3s with a carry over a large lake to the green.   Accurate driving and clever course management are essential. Many holes present a choice of strategies from the tee: play safely for position or unleash a driver and hope to create a birdie chance. This makes the course hugely varied and enjoyable.

The New course is unique and more than a little quirky, in that it has two greens on 15 of its holes, this means our golfers get to play on quality greens all year around. The par 72 New Course stretches over 6,700 yards, but your yardage doesn’t only depend on what tee you are playing from, but on what green. The A and B greens create an exciting variety, making each hole demand varying lengths and positioning off the tee to reach some of the more difficultly placed greens. The 349 yard, par 4 1st is a picturesque opening hole, heavily guarded by a series of brand new, strategically placed bunkers framing the right side of the green. The downhill, 146 yard, par 3 8th is a delightful hole with two lakes surrounding the green, requiring a straight and accurate shot if you want to avoid the water. Accuracy is also at a premium off the tee on the scenic 384 yard par 4 17th, with its sloping fairway ushering the ball left towards a water hazard and a series of bunkers, which could easily catch any golfer out.   8.15 Arrival /Full English 9.00 Tee Times 1.30 Presentations/Close Cost £60.00 per person *The Breakfast schedule will have its own Race with three member cards entered to give you your average for the leader board.  Guests are welcome to come along-  Membership required after one guest visit to return for future events
