A new addition to the GB Schedule - North Hants was founded in 1904 and has been shaped by the distinguished likes of James Braid, Harry Colt and Tom Simpson. Its greatest claim to fame, though, in modern times at least, is that this was the course that Justin Rose grew up playing. It is also the home of the famous Hampshire Hog amateur scratch event that always draws a high-quality field. Located near Fleet, on the M3 corridor, North Hants is on the western edge of the sand belt that cuts through Surrey, Berkshire and Hampshire and is a blend of heathland and parkland. 8.30 Arrival  - Full English Breakfast  10.00  -Tee Times  15.30 - 2 Course Meal & Presentations

The Blue Course was designed by Simon Gidman and opened in 1994. Once you have survived the card threatening water on the early holes, you meander through a number of par four dog-legs and four par fives that face in all compass directions, seemingly getting the best of the prevailing westerly. The Blue greens are more severely undulating, which puts a premium on putting. The bunkering is bold and challenging too. While it’s a different course, no-one who plays the Blue will feel hard done by. The course may be recognised for hosting Euro Pro Tour events and Ladies World Amateur ranking event, the Scratch Salver. Par 72 / Yardage 6700

Surrey National Golf Club
08:45 – 15:00
Delighted to add Surrey National to our Breakfast Schedule Covering in excess of 200 acres, Surrey National is a Championship course approaching 7,000 yards from the Championship tees and 6,300 from the daily play tees. Designed by leading golf course architect, David Williams, the course meanders through dramatic rolling countryside, populated by thousands of mature trees which further enhance the appeal of the setting. Carefully positioned bunkers, raised tees, tree lined fairways and two teasingly placed lakes, mean a good test for golfers of all abilities. Although the contours of the site are dramatic, the clever use of these natural assets ensures that the vast majority of the holes are played either level or downhill, with only one real uphill shot – that being a short pitch to the raised green on the 2nd. As befits a championship length status, the course has a number of difficult par 4s –the 16th and bunker less 6th being the most difficult – but the most challenging hole is the 3rd, which requires a carry of over 150 yards across water from the championship tee.
